September 1, 2022 – Denali National Park
For our last major stopover in Alaska, we spent a few days in Denali National Park. We did several great hikes and actually had one sunny day (we have been getting a lot of rain in Alaska). In this park, we hiked over 18 miles, and we got some great views. That adds up to almost 30 miles of hikes that we did in Alaska. We also took a wilderness tour where we saw grizzly bears, caribou, and moose. Note that the fall colours are in full force in Denali.
